A great Christmas stay

The house is very large, quiet, near the water and very welcoming. The owner very kindly decorated for Christmas, and provided nice personal touches for the season. As VRBO owners ourselves, we appreciated that everything was thoughtfully laid out, all the equipment worked and there were plenty of nooks and private spaces where we could work puzzles, play chess, read or whatever suited us. All thirteen of us were very pleased.

I highly recommend Wild Dunes for your next vacation get away. The resort was very nice, easy access to beach and pools, and the restaurants are great! The house was the perfect fit for what we needed and was able to store and house a larger group of people traveling for golf.

Isle of Palms

Stayed here with friends for a golf outing at Wild Dunes. Our stay was fantastic and would book again! Walking distance to the beach was a plus and house was in a safe area. Isle of Palms treated us well. Cheers!

Destination Wedding

Everything was wonderful except for check-in process, which upon initial check-in at the Wild Dunes Gates, the communication could have been much better. If you're pulling a trailer full of wedding accessories, be sure to make arrangements for parking. Trailers are not allowed inside the resort, even for check-in.

Wedding Stay

This property was beautiful. We booked it for my family to stay in for the week of my wedding in Charleston, and it was perfect. It fit all of us comfortably, was well-appointed, and was feet from the beach. Highly highly recommend.

Wonderful home, wonderful location

A lovely, welcoming home, perfect for a very large family. Elevator was great for my 96-year-old mother and my wife who needs knee replacement. Short walk to an UN-crowded beach. Minor problems with the house were corrected quickly. Highly recommend this lovely home.

I hosted a group of 15 people for a bachelorette weekend. The place is even better in the pictures - we could not get over how nice the inside was! Very spacious, well decorated, and lots of room for entertaining. It made the bride feel so special. Because it is controlled by Wild Dunes resort, we checked in through the resort and had keys and parking passes for multiple vehicles, enough towels for everyone, and hotel-size soaps etc in all the bathrooms. It is about a 2 minute walk away from the beach, and 30-35 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Would absolutely recommend this place to large groups and families. I'd come here again myself!

Policies

While we love furry friends, pets are not allowed at The Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn, Residences at Sweetgrass, Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals, or anywhere on the resort grounds. A $400 minimum fee will be assessed, per pet, if in breach of resort policy. Other fees and fines may apply. Service animals are welcome at Wild Dunes Resort and are not subject to the foregoing Pet Policy.

Isle of Palms noise ordinance requires that “quiet time” is in effect Sunday through Thursday from 10 pm-10 am and Friday and Saturday from 11 pm-10 am and includes noise restrictions on stereos, televisions and any other noise. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the beach and public streets. Beach fires and fireworks are prohibited due to fire hazards. Beach chairs, umbrellas and tents left unattended on the beach after sunset may be disposed of by the City. For safety, guests are asked to refill any beach holes they may dig.

Smoking, vaping or use of illegal substances are not permitted in any rental units. Fees starting at $400 will be assessed if smoking occurs in the accommodation

A 16% Resort Fee will be added to each accommodation rate.
VACATION RENTAL AND RESORT POLICIES
Fee Policy
A 16% Resort Fee will be added to each accommodation rate.
A Departure Cleaning Fee will be added to each reservation to cover check out cleans. These vary by unit size and seasonality.

Check in time is guaranteed by 4pm.
Check out time is at 10am.
Guests must be 21 years of age to check-in to our vacation homes and condos.

A Cleaning Fee based on the bedroom count of the accommodation will be added to each reservation to cover check-out cleans.

Deposit Policy
Wild Dunes Homes and Condos Deposit: 50% of the value of the entire stay, inclusive of room rate, taxes, resort fees, and package items, is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival and will automatically be charged to your credit card.

Cancellation Policies: 50% deposit is due at booking and the remaining 50% is due 30 days prearrival. All reservations are non-moveable at the time of booking. All deposits are
nonrefundable if the booking is cancelled.

Check in time is guaranteed by 4pm.

I highly recommend Wild Dunes for your next vacation get away. The resort was very nice, easy access to beach and pools, and the restaurants are great! The house was the perfect fit for what we needed and was able to store and house a larger group of people traveling for golf.
